Can I get pregnant a week before period?

Hi,

Hoping someone can help? Had unprotected sex a week before my period which is due in the next 2 days. Now worried I could be pregnant?! Been feeling queasy all week, hot flushes and today I feel all fluttery in my tummy/pelvis area...could these be symptoms and would I feel them this early?! Is it just because I'm worrying? When could I take a test??

You can get pregnant at any time in your cycle BUT you are more likely to concieve around ovulation time (which is usually 2 weeks before period!)

Exactly what Carnat says - you can get pregnant at any time during the month. I ovulated a bit late (day 18) when I caught pregnant so it can happen.

Test when you period is late or a couple of days before to be sure. Good luck xx
