Can i ask your advice **update**

Hey all i have been stuck with this stupid migrane i have and its been like it since friady i also feel very sick with it too and its putting me off my food i have taken co dydramol sp) to try and help it but its not doing anything for it do you think its worth going to the doctor to see if he can help the problem.

I would go to the doctor's hun. He maybe able to tell you how to cope with it and pescribe some migrane pills. I knew someone who used to get them and they had these tablets that dissolved in water that really helped. Pretty sure you can only get them at the doctors. It's worth a try hun! ive been fortunate enough to have never had a migraine in my life so im afraid i have no advice. My mother get them every nowand then and she has to go to her room and lay in the dark and quiet until it subsides.

I get them bad sometimes, and while ive been pregnant i have gotten them so bad, and of course i havent been able to take anything part from paracetmol, and one thing that helped me a little was lying down in a dark room and have some cold compresse on my head, u can buy some called migraleve they helped me hun

Might sound strage but maybe its caffene withdrawl? I drink a fair anount of tea and if i dont have one all day ill get a very bad migrane! Pills dont work on it either!
Just a thought...

i never had migraines till after lily and the only thing that works is to try and sleep,not very practical if you get it mid day,but mine make me feel really sick too,think mines due to low sugar as well

Blooming nurse i went yesterday to tell her about this bad head and sicky feeling i have had and basically she told me there wasnt nothing she could do for it she wouldnt give me anything as id already been taking something for it but to no avail she told me that taking to many tablets for something like this can make it worse so she told me not to take anymore (so basically i have to feel like crap with a bad head and feeling sick all day looking after the lo's) she put it down to stress and being a tension headache and that it can take anything up to 2 wks for these things to go if it hasnt gone by then she told me to go back . Grrrrr they are so useless i cant put up with this its driving me nuts and making me feel awful. What an earth am i meant to do?

i have never had a migrane untill last night, iv never known a pain like it (except labour) i couldnt open my eyes and couldnt lift my head of the pillow i just woke in the night feeling like this my head was so heavy the tears were streaming while trying to look at kris it was soooo sore. poor you flossy couldnt live with it for longer then a nght. im ok now its gone but still have a head ache and hurts if i cough or something but no way near as bad

aww hunnie sorry ur still feeling cr@ppy! Just try and rest if u can! I have had headaches for 5 years and they still cant do sod all about it!
