Mine has been head down since 28 weeks and I'm now 36 and 3. All kicks have been on my right side till this morning. All movement has been to the left at the bottom of my stomach. Felt movement about 7am and the odd movement since but had all the movement at the bottom which I thought was weird. What is everyone elses experience xxxx

Hi belle I've had something similar - baby was head down since 28 weeks then a few days ago I noticed my belly had moved higher up under my ribs and hiccups were under ribs instead of my bum! But today all seems back to normal! Very strange, obviously I'm not as far along as you but my friend was breech and her baby turned at 35+4 so it can happen! X

My baby is head down but I do feel kicks low down as I think it's where baby's legs are curled back round. I used to feel all my kicks on the right, but a couple of weeks ago baby turned so that legs were on the left xx

Hi Belle. I'm also a bit worried about where baby is lying. I thought it was in the ideal position until a couple of days ago - head down, left occipital anterior... but over the last few nights I keep thinking that things have changed. My kicks were all on my right hand side, and I think I used to be able to feel a solid back and bum on my left hand front side, but today it's gone a bit weird and soft, so I have no idea. I can't find the head at all when I have a feel of the bump... weird... maybe it's gone back to back, the rascal.

I've done all the right things so far to help baby into position - not spending too much time lying back on a sofa, spending some time on my hands and knees every day, trying to sleep on my left... but I'm still worried. I really want a home birth and it won't happen if baby is breech. I wasn't palpated at my last appointment because I didn't have my usual MW, and I'm not seeing her for another week and a half, so I'm just going to have to be confused until then...

Could still be head down, just punching you instead of kicking you :)

Have you been told if baby is engaged because my midwife said once they are engaged then it is hard for them to turn up the other way :)

Although she advised against trampolining to get baby out as she had a lady that did that and bounced baby right out of her pelvis eek!!!! and then had to go on to have a C Section......... not that I was planning trampolining.

Some babies that have always been head down will suddenly turn breech during labour. :wall2:

They are tricky little monkeys lol

I get kicks on both sides throughout everyday, I think he/she still moves about constantly x

Every app i had baby was head down and in 'pefrect position' i knew they wud jinx it. Last wednesday 40 weeks, midwife said baby is in perfect position heads is fully down. 3am saturday morning, in labour in hospital baby has turned back to back. So they can literally change whenever the little things feel like it :) xx
