Hi ladies
I have just taken sam for his first injections and both the doc and nurse advised not to give paracetamol based pain relief following injections unless it was absolutely necessary!!

I've just googled it and there are quite a few articles about it!

Just thought I'd share ooh and top tip if you bf def bf through the jab it's soothing effects are amazing!!

Cheers bev it was amazing, there were loads of babies coming out screaming (didn't help my nerves). He did go red and let out a little scream but then sucked like mad. I didn't change boobs I just stood up to allow the nurse to reach the other leg

Our nurses do both legs at same time :-( Theo has his 2nd ones tomorrow
