cabbage test

buy red cabbage
cut it up
poor boiling water over the cabbage
let soak for 10 minutes (water should be blue)
use first morning pee and poor cabbage water into it
if it turns puple its a girl
if its red/ pink its a boy

i got a boy!!!

really?! Where on earth did you find this?! Did you see that programme last night about women who really wanted girls? I wonder whether any of them tried this!!

Its cheaper than a private gender scan!

lol i had heard about it so i googled it and to be honest alot of people who have tryed it and then had a 20 week scan find there resuolts to be true lol!!! i have a gut feeling i was having a boy like i did with my first i knew just knew it was a girl lol!! xx

Yeah I got red which is a boy thought it was worth a go didn't use
morning wee they do say as log as it's a dark wee and not diluted colour you should be
ok x

I think I might have to give this a go. We could do a little experiment, if loads of us do it then report back after our 20 week scan! I wonder if you did another would you get the same result?

I am loving this idea! Im out to buy red cabbage tomorrow, I want to find out sex as soon as! Think it may be a boy though, as there are a lot of men in my boyfriends family, his brother also ad two boys! Im assuming this counts for something.

ive never heard of anything like it before but would be a lot cheaper than an early gender scan.
i have my 20 week scan in 4 weeks so i think i will give it a go and report back if my results were accurate! how exciting!

so its a boy??? OOh so excited to find out now! I really must do this but with the house move i just dont think Ill have time for another few weeks. I'll definately do it before my 20 week scan though so I can see if it works!
