Hi I've just been told ive got bv (bacterial vaginosis ) just wanted some advice regarding the medication treated for it which is called metronidazole , read online it can cause problems while pregnant my midwife says it's fine to take but I'm unsure,has anyone took this antibiotic while pregnant any advice welcome thanks 😊 I'm 10 weeks preg xx

I don't know about taking it while pregnant but I was taking it while breastfeeding so I guess it's safe.
Anyway BV might be dangerous during pregnancy so it's safer to take the medication that leave it.
