Burglary

my house was broken into on wednesday night whilst we were asleep in bed. I thought we were fairly secure but they broke in through a blocked up cat flap on the back door and hooked the keys. The worst of it was that they took my scan picture which was in my handbag. I don't mind the rest of the stuuf so much but I hate the thought of some druggie having my picture.

So girls - just a note of caution to check your security.

Oh that's just so terrible I'm sorry you had to endure that. The worst part of that to me would be the missing scan picture. You can replace credit cards, buy a new handbag but the picture, oh my heart is really going out to you! It really, really is!!

Oh poor you! What b*stards!! Such a shame about your scan photo, but you never know what the police might find. I had my handbag stolen and I got the contents back (minus my credit card and cash) a week later, some one found it dumped in a church yard a few miles away and handed it in.

Bet you will never leave your keys by the door again.....

I'm so sorry to hear about your burglary and the missing scan pic. That's really horrible.

Of course you might get your stuff back if the thieves find no monetary value in it. *fingers crossed* you will. Otherwise, do you think it might be possible to ask the hospital for another photo? I'm sure they would be sympathetic.

hiya chick sorry about what happened - there are some f*ckin w*nkers out there - believe me i know!!

we had our house burgled while we were in the other room watching TV!!! and i had my car broken into - all within a week, that was last Sept/Oct!!!

my DF's younger brother used to be such a t*at - i still cant stand him - but when i stayed at DF's house he used to go into my purse and take money, he has nicked other things off me in the end we had to put a lock on our bedroom door!!!!! he was sent to a YOI last year for 6 months - and it might sound nasty but i was sooo glad!!!!!

Just read this how aweful. Could you maybe post signs or somthing asking to return the pic , i know it sounds stupid but you never know im sure its not what they wanted to take, somthiing like that you cannot replace.Or would the place you got it done at still have it on file?
