hi there, i'm new to the forum and 8+6 1st pregnancy. in the past week my tummy has started to bulge a little - havn't put any weight on but trousers are tight. is this usual? i thought it was a little early? also have had very bad wind since week 6  doesn't mention that in any of the books! as most 1st mums worry about everything so would love to hear if it's not just me!

I think its actually just bloating, being pregnant is so glam! I also thought my stomache was growing early on but on some mornings I still wake up and its flatter than before I was pregnant! I didn't get wind but was constipated!

Every thing you have said is perfectly normal!!

I was very bloated very early on and I think it's very common.

I also had lots of wind. Gets worse as baby grows!!

Good Luck with your pregnancy

BubbleOne, I started putting on weight quite early as I gave up smoking. I did notice though that my belly would be flatter in the morning and bigger by evening. Before you know it you will have your baby belly.

All the best

Hi thank goodness, I can totally relate to all this.

I'm nearly 9 weeks and have had my work trousers unbuttoned from week 5!!!. Tummy definately smaller in the morning and during the day but grows at night  I know it would get bigger cuz you eat, but not like this!!

I do believe it's fluid retension so I'm drinking water by the gallons at the mo :)

I also have quite a large chest, normally 32E and have gone up to a 32F already, I don't mind a baby bump (quite looking forward to it actually) but please please don't let my boobs get any bigger

Take care

Bev, I can totally relate to you! I am also normally a 32E but I am currently a 32G and I am so scared they are going to keep growing!! Where the hell will I get bras? All my tops that I thought would fit until mid pregnancy because of the room in the tummy are now too tight in the bust, its so depressing!!

heres hoping our boobs stop growing :D

Girls Im afraid your boobies do get bigger. I was a 32b and now 34d, I could really do with going up to a 34dd. I love my new boobs as I have always been very small but I can imagine it does worry you girls who do have bigger chests. Just make sure you wear good maternity or support bras.

Hi skatty,

Thank god someone is in the same boat. I got maternity bras from M&S just to wear at night for comfort but had to wear one all day today cuz the underwired bra is too small and diggin in a bit. They are not flattering at all so heading out for bras tomorrow. Gonna try a sports bra as at least they give you two boobs instead of one long sausage shape boob in the maternity bras!!!
Happy hunting I hope you have some luck in the underwear department

Take care

Hi Bev, I just can't bring myself to wear an un-wired bra, they make me feel like my boobs are heading for my knees they are so heavy at the mo'. Have you looked at Bravissimo? They do loads of cool bras for big boobed girls but they are expensive! I'm just going to have to treat myself...again!

Heeeeeeeellllllllllllp!!!! Im a 40G before i even start so not much hope of me finding a bigger bra i LOL :D may have to do with buckets and string :D :D :D

Oh my Kayzee, lets hope it doesn't all go your boobs or you'll be having bras custom made

I feel much better reading this now! I'm not even that far gone and my belly looks huge, especially of a night time. It's nice to hear most people are in the same boat as me.

Gosh im glad the bloating is normal!!! I have a bloated gut all the time, and I fart/burp more than ever (sorry  ) Im glad this is normal, its my first and I dont have a clue what to expect preggy wise lol

Same here, it doesn't help that i don't even know how far gone i am yet, still haven't got a letter through for my scan. Only went to the doctor's last Friday but it seems weeks ago :wall:
