B really doesnt like his teeth being cleaned everytime i get the tooth brush in he pulls it away then shuts his mouth real tight does anyone have ne ideas ?
(it been like this for 3 weekss now)

how about giving him a toothbrush as well , it might distract hmi enough for you to get his teeth cleaned and let him clean your teeth too.

tried giving him his own tooth brush he just thro it :wall: :wall: he is to much like his mum lol

Oh dear - sounds like a toughy!!!
What about leaving it for a couple of days... it wont do any harm. Then give him his toothbrush and let him see himself in the mirror. Loads of praise too. Don't let it stress you Sarah - he mustn't think it's a big issue.

It might take a week or so, but perservere, stay cool, plenty fun and jokes. Brush your teeth at the same time and make funny noises while you're brushing!!

In mothercare and john lewis they sell a rabbit-face type thing which you can stick your fingers in the ear bits and then rub them around the teeth to clean them

oh kool i may try that then urchin
thanks girls for ur advice i really need to start cleaning them as they been thro 3 weeks now

Hiya Sarah

I don't know what to suggest hon, but Emilia and Urchin have some good ideas.
It's hit and miss whether Ky lets me do his - Sometimes he opens his mouth wide and lets me do his - Other times he has his mouth clamped shut, sucking his bottom lip in with his top lip over the top. Little monkey!

On occation, if he won't open his mouth, I can give him his toothbrush and he'll put it in his mouth and have a chew on...Other times I just put a bit of his toothpaste on my finger and rub his teeth - He never rufuses my fingers to have a good chew on!

they sell those rabbit cloths in woolworths too :) you can use a face cloth too :) i let Abi chew a toothbrush when she was teething she doesn't mind a toothbrush now :)
