I know its still early days (I'm 29 wks on friday) but at the mo, baby is happily breech and i was just wondering how long i've got before i can start worrying about it and when other peoples little ones turned round the 'right' way?

:moon:

oh crikey, i'm replying to myself , didn't mean to put a moon on, thought it was a smiley!! anbd have just read another post that says breechys can turn up to 35 weeks

iwill now shut up!! But still feel free to post anyway he he he he :rotfl:

Hiya

My baby was breech up until 32 weeks, then turned of its own accord so don't worry yourself too much, plenty of time yet.

Hi,

Mine has just turned to breech at 34 weeks :x not happy, Im sure yours has loads of time to turn. Im about to try headstands mmm should be interesting

karen

haha bless you!! too funny something i would do :rotfl: dont worry hun, my LO i think is head down now, but DD was breech reght up until labour :D lucky for me she turned x

My daughter was breech, she didn't turn (I think due to my fluid levels being so low), the worse case sceneiro is a c-section and to be honest it's not the end of the world, as long as you get your baby safely and healthily that's the main thing. I'm hoping for a natural birth this time round, only time will tell!! :D

My DS was breach at 32weeks (I had a private scan). I was sent to the consultant at 35+4 weeks, and she felt and said he had turned - no scan to check. My Midwife felt at regular appointments, said he was head down too.

Waters break in bed at 3am. Get to hospital. Breach. C-section. Born... Dent in head, you can see where he has grown with his head up in my ribs - no wonder I was uncomfortable, I thought it must be his arse tho!! Consultant - TIT. My MW - TIT. Poor DS's arse obviously felt like his head!!

So dont count on baby moving at all... mine was in same position cumfy for along time!! I tried everything to move him between 32 and 35 weeks - nothing worked!!

My LO has been Breech since 28 weeks too & she's still Breech now (sorry to say) i've got to go & have a scan next week to confirm she's Breech & then an ECV to see if they can turn her. If not then it's a c-section @ 38 weeks.
I'm still hoping she'll turn though as she can still go sideways making my belly look like an egg, i'm 36 weeks nearly, so I live in hope!!
Good Luck.

This baby was lying transverse last Thurs but I'm not worrying until much later, my DS was breech until 36 weeks then turned by himself so plenty of time yet

I understand why you're worrying, I was the same. My baby kept changing between breech and transverse. She turned at 32 weeks. I used the moxa sticks to try and help and also various positions such as putting my legs up against a wall with a cushion under my hips. I'm sure that really helped turn her because I experienced dreadful stomach pains when she turned and it was the day after doing that position.

You've still got plenty of time for her to turn but I would look up the things you can do to help get her in the right position and give them a go.

Good luck!

thanks for all the replies, guess i've just got to sit it out and wait a bit longer to see if he/she does a nosedive!
