In trying to get an ounce off at each feed but it's kind of a hassle.

Are you supposed to sterilise the pump each time?!?

I think your meant to.

I found it easier to try get a 20 mins session in about 30ish mins after a feed, as your body thinks its another feed, and so starts to produce more iykwim.

you can put it in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge between expressing for the day i think hun since you can store breast milk in the fridge for a few days. as long as it dosent touch anything else and is in the fridge id say its fine then just sterilise it at night.

I didn't sterilise it after every time, there was simply no time!

It's got a cover for the top and bottom so I have been putting that on so nothing is exposed to the air but I try to sterilise it as much as possible.

I daren't pump out too much on one go cos it mucks with my boobs and they end up massive and leaking everywhere

i did everytime til she was 9 months old then did it every other feed x x x

I had a microwave sterilizer, but for the pump bits, I found the really cheep sterilizing tablets from tescos good, I use a tupperware box on the window sill in kitchen and fill with water, add the one or two tablets required (can't remember), and you only have to leave things in there for 30 mins, (just rinse and plonk in, no rinse required after).

I would get most off if I fed on one side and pumped on the other at the same time, ok after a few trys , (make sure its all ready), and that way my boobs had no idea I was dong an extra feed, and my boobs stayed under control more

my pump has a microwave box with it that just takes 5 mins in the microwave. xxx

no you can put it in the fridge for up to 24 hours before washing/sterilising it! x

I put it in a bag and left it in the fridge for 24 hours like others. Sterilising every time would of been very time consuming!x
