braxton hicks?

hiya, hope everyones ok i think i just had my first braxton hicks! my bump went really hard and tight and i had period type cramps but really intense from the top of my bump all the way down into my pelvis and across the bottom of my bump, it lasted about 2 minutes and i had a couple in about 10 minutes...what do u all think? i know they must be bh, guess i'm just lookin for a little reasurrance as it's my first i dont really know lol sorry, that sounds a bit dumb

Sounds like braxton hicks to me, i was always confused with them first of all, didnt know what to expect!! i didnt really start to feel mine until near the end, then suddenly i was in labour!!!!
