Been having Braxton Hicks throughout the day for about 3 days now. I'm 15+3 so this is a lot earlier than I expected and the only reason I know what they are is because this is my 2nd pregnancy. They aren't painful but they still take my breath away

Anyone else started with them early?

This may sound weird but I find they feel quite nice! they force me to stop what I'm doing and I feel a bit out of this world for a minute when I get one and my lower tummy goes rock hard. It's hard to explain but even though Labour is beyond painful and I hated it last time, these Braxton Hicks feel like a familiar sort of sensation that's quite comforting. I must be crazy lol, does anyone know what I mean?

They say everyone gets them from quite early on but most women don't feel them until much later. I noticed them from about 13 weeks with my 3rd pregnancy. If they are very strong or frequent it would be a good idea to mention them to someone though as they can be a warning sign of issues.

I mentioned this to my midwife at 17 weeks and she was concerned it was too early. This is my 2nd baby too. I read they could happen from 16 weeks with 2nd but she said that wasn't actually common. If they are that strong they take your breath away it coming on regularly maybe mention it to your midwife and see what she thinks? I'm sure it's nothing though. Mine went away anyway and I'm sure yours are nothing to be concerned about xx

I was getting them when I was exercising, had to stop  or dehydrated, now I only get them when OH and I are up to no good lol! But I was getting them very early too.
I think as long as they aren't strong and regular it's not too much of a worry always safer to get checked out though x

My MW wasn't worried but I have a friend with early BH that sounded similar to mine and she was put on bed rest by her doctor for several weeks.
