braxton hicks aggrrrrr

ive been gettin these for weeks now but all the time its like its all day everyday and some are really painful i was just wondering if any of u other ladies get them this often and do they hurt? how do u tel if its the real thing?? i never got braxton hicks once with my first but got them just like these with my 2nd and didnt no i was in labour til i was 3 cm's dilated.. i cant get that far with this one due to kidney problems as im having a c section. im just worried i will put the real contractions down to bh
