Ok ladies i need to ask something here i was measured on thursday to check my bra size and to my shock id gone up a bra size and cup size from a 32DD to a 34E  Normaly id wear underwired one's as i prefer them much better. But the lady reccomended the nursing bra's they had in as im intending to breast feed all being well anyway. So i bought one and although i admit its sooo comfy i feel as if my boob's are resting on my belly which is annoying me slightly :wall: Is it ok to still wear underwired one's or should i just invest in some more of what ive just bought? Im in a terrible dilema.

I think they suggest you shouldn't wear underwired ones just in case they block the milk ducts. Having said that though I know plenty of women who have worn underwired bra's all the way through and have had no problems BF'ing!!

lol i have just started to wear non underwired as i find them more comfy and for some reason i dont itch as much in them with the OC as i do with the underwired ones although they do not support you aswell .
glad my boobs dont rest on my bump! its dropped so much in the last week they would be round my crutch!!!! :rotfl:

I was in the same situation as you, only liking underwired but have finally given in! I went from a 32 E to 34 E, so just got a couple of new bras from La Senza when that happened, but after a couple of weeks I started out growing them!

I've only just given in and am now wearing Maternity Support bras from M&S in a 34 F!! Mine seem to rest on my bump a bit now too, but they're more uplifted in a maternity support bra than nursing bras, so perhaps you should try them instead.

I can't get over how comfy they are in comparison to my old underwired ones that really started to dig in! x

 hun!

I asked my doctor about this when i first found out i was pregnant as i am an J cup and was worried about having to stop wearing underwired. My doc says that it is better to be properly supported and as long as the bra fits properly i.e the wire is not digging into any part of your breast tissue, then it is ok to continue. I am still wearing underwired now and when i recently got measured is had gone up a back size but down to an H cup.
