It feels really strange buying them already but I dont feel comfortable in the clothes Ive got. Think so far Ive found 4 pairs of trousers/combats that I can comfortably wear. Tried on the next size up in combats a few days ago but they fitted my bum and were huge on the waist so I got maternity ones today with the stretch panels on the sides of them. Hopefully they will fit nicely later. Ive also gone up a bra size already (back size), cant wait until tuesday for my scan to see if it is twins as that would explain things, either that or Im just showing early.

Ive also had to buy maternity trousers already and have gone up a bra size 2!! :O Its quiet exciting tho. I also have my scan on tues, good luck hope everything is fine x

I really don't want to put on any more weight too early on i'm already a size 18 and only 5 foot tall  . Thats one thing that does worry me.

As long as you are comfortable hun.

Good luck with your scan on Tuesday, exciting

I too have brought a couple of pairs nothing expensive! But my trousers were so uncomfortable and I feel much better now

Good luck with the scan :cheer:

i find maternity clothes too big at the moment but my normal trousers are too tight, so i just wear joggers :)

Have now tried them on and shouldve done it before I bought them as they are all too big - even the size 10. Wish I knew how to work around it, cant wear a standard 10 and cant wear a maternity 10.

i am in maternity clothes aswell, well trousers at least, i bought my first pair when i was around 9 weeks as i just couldnt do up any of my jeans anymore, i got the one with the stretchy band across the top (underbump i think) and they fit from 9 weeks, they are really good, have also started putting a bobble over my button, through the hole and over the button again so i can still wear my jeans :P if youre still having trouble maybe you should buy one of those bump band things, you know the things you put over your jeans so you can wear them open and it just looks like a long tight top under your real top :D i am getting lots lol

x

Two pairs of maternity trousers have been purchased here too :rotfl:
ALL my trousers are uncomfortably tight so I know live in 2 pairs of trousers whcih i hate
I had mine couple weeks now too, sometimes my stomach looks hugeeee!!

Ok, Im thick. Showed them to Mam this afternoon and when I was messing about with the waist band she noticed the elastic with button holes so that they could be altered. So after altering them my white cropped trousers now fit me, the size 10 combats were only slightly big anyway so was going to keep them and the black linen trousers I got should fit in the next few weeks so Im now only taking one pair of them back (size 12 combats which were non sale items)

Think Im going to consider one of the bands for my work trousers as I cant manage on one or two pairs depending on my shifts. Any recommendations on where to buy them?

When Mam noticed the elastic she informed me that they are on MOST maternity clothes so you can change the sizes of them, I replied 'Sorry, but Ive never had to buy maternity before so HOW am I supposed to know????'
