Please don't think badly of me for what I'm about to ask.

When do you stop giving toddlers milk (the toddler sma) and bottles? DS is nearly 2 and a half and has some milk in the morning when he wakes up and some before he goes to bed. He adores his 'peck'! Many of you will probably think i've left it too late  but I never had any advice from mother or MIL as they can't remember anything to do with having kids (MIL will tell you different but she has very twisted views) and the health visitors where no help at all!! I didn't really worry about it until the other day when reading something on PF.

Please don't think badly of me

Lol don't be feeling bad, my Gurkhas hat their bot bots til about 3! There would be hell to pay if they didn't get their morning and night time bot bot. It was a right pain lol

Gurkhas WTF meant girlies!!!

Effing autocorrect!!

Haha Amy I did wonder what you meant!
I never gave Lacey toddler milk, I put her straight onto cow's milk at a year old. As for bottles, Lacey had 1 until she was about 2 for bedtime. I managed to get her using a cup from 2 years. Maybe buy your LO a special cup so she'll be excited to chance and use that instead

I don't think bad of you! Every baby is different.
Jack turned 2 in December and we stopped giving him bottles about 2 months ago. He had got to the point where he was taking a tantrum for one several times a day so we thought if he can actually ask for one then it's probably time to give bottles up.
I felt really guilty taking them away and there was a few days he cried at night for one but it got better quite quickly.
At night we will still give Jack milk but make a huge big deal about him choosing his cup and he loves it now
