Hi All,

On a serious note just wondering what books every one bought / would recommend.

On a less serious note :D Sex in first tri? Ok or not ok. My tummy hurts a little so I'm not that excited about the thought but the baby daddy is feeling a little amorous  . Partially brought on by our happy news. We seem to have been very coupley recently. I've read many different things about whether you should or shouldn't. What's the consensus opinion??

xx

Unless you've had bleeding/pain then it's fine. People who have had early m/c's before probably not so fine.

Congratz btw :cheer:

I have The Rough Guide to Pregnancy, which is a bit lighthearted, with bits of information scattered throughout. I also have The Pregnancy Bible, which has quite detailed information for throughout conception, pregnancy, birth and new baby stages. It also has week by week pictures of the baby and what you should expect. These are only 2 of literally hundreds though so keep asking what other people have and maybe read some reviews on amazon etc.

And remember, the girls on the forum are really good so if you ever want to know something then it will prob have happened to someone on here!

With regards to jiggy (!), I've always found that if you feel up to it (in between throwing up and sleeping) then there's no reason why not. Obviously if you have bleeding then hold off and speak to your dr or midwife.

I would make the most of it before you get a bump cos it's not as easy to be acrobatic with someone else in the way! Glad your OH is being so sweet, I've been so grumpy my OH doesn't know whether he's coming or going and is keeping his distance!

Later on, you may find that your LO is more excitable after you've done the deed but they don't know what you're up to so try not to feel weird about it. He/she is just enjoying the endorphin rush!

Congrats on your pregnancy x

SNAP these are the same two I have, they are so different its worth having them both and I love the humour of The Rough Guide to Pregancy!

With regards to sex.........yes I still had sex through first tri :D
