Booking a week off

I came to the conclusion today that me, DF and Damien need some time as a family for a while, so I've told him to book a week off work. Feel so much more relaxed knowing he'll to spend to quality time as a family Can't wait!

We're going to take Damien swimming for the first time and maybe take him to the local farm if we have a nice day. Things I didn't want to do without Mark so it will be nice to have some proper family time

I felt really guilty at first for doing things with Ella without Matt, like taking her to the zoo and aquarium. Have you talked to Mark about the way you feel? I did and Matt told me not to be silly and he'd rather I took Ella out and about than sat at home with her bored or me being bored by doing the same old walks every day. I still miss him though when we do stuff as we used to do everything together. We still have family days at the weekend (went swimming and pizza hut on Sunday yum yum) but I've finally learnt that unfortunately Ella is stuck with just me 5 days a week and it's up to me to entertain her We start swimming lessons in 2 weeks and I'm really looking forward to it. Doing stuff with her has definately helped with feeling depressed. I spent 2 days at home with her last week and I felt so down!

Hope you have a nice week off together, but don't feel guilty about doing stuff with Damien when Mark isn't there

gets me down so much too. i love Taking Dior swiming it means the world to her. but there is no way of going with Harley and Dior. i dont no what is wrong with me but i have never left Harley with any one other then kris since giving birth. so we stay in all day every day untill the weekend when kris can drive us out ect.

so the other night i got Dior ready kris had harl we got the bus to swimming (she loves busses) but it ended in disaster when she fell down the stairs

I know, I'm dreading the swimming part! I know on a Thursday they let you take 2 children to 1 adult, but it's going to be a while til I have the confidence!

i took Dior in the deep end and she was having a fit cause i was holdn her

You can buy pouch slings to use in the water, I would probably get one of those to carry bub around the pool in (not right in the water if you know what I mean but to give me a free hand whilst getting Ella sorted). Ella will be walking by then and the pool is quite shallow, plus it's supervised as it's a baby session. She would most likely be wearing armbands aswell, guess it's just a case of having eyes in the back of my head. Will probably do it once and never again!! I think I'd have the baby in a ring like she's got at the moment so I can put more attention to her We went swimming today and I dunked Ella. Do it everytime we go to get her used to it, she doesn't mind it. I bought her some armbands a few weeks ago but can't find them She looked so cute floating in the pool with them on

Sami me and OH are doing the same thing, we've got a week booked off at the end of sept, Im looking forward to it. His auntie has a caravan in wales which we might be going to. It will be nice to spend time just the 3 of us. we did have a 2week holiday not long ago but we were with my family aswell.

Hope you have a lovely time, definatly take Damien swimming its great fun, Ella loves the pool, Im sure Damien will aswell. I very nearly dunked Ella but to scared im a whimp! so instead splashed water over her face! hehe
