BLW and nurseries

Hi all

I plan to following BLW and am hoping to take 10-12 months off work after the baby is born. My husband and I are now looking around nurseries for when I do go back to work.

Has anyone found that nurseries do or don't support BLW? A couple have looked at me blanky when I've dicussed this with them. The last thing I want is to work hard for 4-6 months on the whole BLW for it all to be undone because the nursery insists on force feeding pureed food.

Any advice or info welcomed!

i would of thought all nurserys will follow what u are doing at home?

I don't know about nurseries but the childminders I have spoken to are very supportive and said they would do what I wanted. It's the big deciding factor for me too.

my nursery in particular will follow BLW and they actually try it with the babies that are TW where they can which noone minds of course , am pretty sure they ask as they ask EVERYTHING lmao xx
