Blugh.. blood results back

Well after feeling very confident that all my blood results would come back fine (because i felt fine)... They didn't... Remember... it never pays to be cocky...

Apparently, I have 8 for my iron (silly low) and 175 for my sugar (silly high) so now I have to go to the hospital for more tests and probably a load more pills.. I hate pills.

The GP and midwife think its probably got something to do with my Crohns, but I can't find any information on the web about it and its really getting me, I hate not knowing things (as Midna knows only too well ). Our local hospital aren't very forth coming with appointments for specialist consultants even if they are urgent. Considering my "urgent" 12 week scan didn't appear until 19 weeks.. So I suppose the baby will be getting ready for college by the time I see anyone...

So now I'm just feeling rather peed off... aint told my mum yet... she'll start fussing... How sad am I, 28 and I'm still afraid of my mum

Why don't you think I told my mum I was going for the GTT until I went for it! Not afraid of her, just can't stand the nagging and extra ammo it gives her to moan about my weight...yet again...

I couldn't even face telling my mam I was pg until after the 20 week scan. I would have liked not to have told her til after the baby was born but I was spotted at the antenatal clinic

I'm sorry bout your test results, I can just imagine how frustrated you are

mum's are hard work i thought with age it would get easier. I'm 23 and i was hoping by the time i have my next baby around the 28mark it would be easier but guess not!

i just turn up for 'routine blood tests' and hope they don't phone me up! They don't tell me what they are testing, though they made me feel sick today when they could not get any blood out

keep us updated and i hope you can find some info out.

LOL not allowed to eat red meat cos its difficult to digest... although I do love me spinach...
