Another one from me, sorry ladies.

So I was expressing ready for Cays next feed... Did one boob, filled a pot (yay! Normally only get like, 2/3s at a time). Switched pot, switched boob, got that first watery milk, then the yellower milk started coming, and there was drops of blood in with it???
So I stopped expressing, took the pump and bits out to be sterelised, and had a good look at the nipple... I can't see any bleeding bits, any cracks or anything, so I can only assume the blood has come out with the milk?

I just had a read through the thrush thread... I don't think it's that...

I've no symptoms or anything, just blood in milk, and rock hard boobs (presumably from all the milk, but they don't seem to get any softer, even straight after expressing...?).

Everything else is fine... I just seem to have broken boobs :(

Thanks in advance ladies xx

^ I lied, actually... Now I've only done one boob, the left is considerably softer than the right. Xx

I've no idea! Have you tried to hand express to see if you can locate where it's coming from?

xx

I went up and had a good steaming hot bath. Once I got out I was dripping all over the place (I'd heard that hot water helps... That, it definitely does), so I just sat with plain white tissue and hand expressed onto that.

No sign of any blood whatsoever.

Very strange.

Oh well... MW tomorrow for 5 day check, I'll mention it there, see what she says.

Thanks Andrea :)

13lb? He's bigger than Aaron!

No idea about the bleeding, mention it to MW and keep an eye on it xx

He is getting really hefty!!! I think he is going to be a big lad!! He is on 91st centile. His dad is a big lad plays rugby a lot so I think we might have a rugby player in the making here!!! xx

Good boy!

Aaron is on the 91st too but thats on the Down Syndrome chart, no idea what he would be on the regular chart.

His weight has been so up and down though - I'm dreading his weigh in again tomorow, I'm pretty sure if he's lost weight again we are for the docs

12 weeks!!! Already?!!
Wow... That really has flown :)

Cay's doin well. Got his 5 day appointment at lunchtime so we'll find out just how well he is.
Gonna ask about the boobs... I think we're all good but be nice to just have it confirmed.
Gotta ask about the amount he eats in general... He seems to be a bit of a guzzler :)
Another rugby-playing daddy's son, methinks.
Mind you, better that than football :)

5 days already... Madness O.O xx
