Bloat/weight gain

Hi guys! So I'm 5+5 and I've had awful bloat for the last week... But I've also gained 5lb (the horror!!). I'm eating more frequently because I feel so sick when I'm hungry - normally every 3-4 hours. And tbh I've been eating mainly toast, which doesn't help in keeping weight down lol!
I'm going to swap out the toast for a ginger biscuit and see if that helps, because I'm sure I can't be this hungry all the time, I'm just eating to get rid of the nausea. But I don't want to be the size of a house before I have my first MW apt!

Are any of you going through this? Any tips?xxx
 
Ohhhhh yes, I can definitely sympathise there! I'm 8+2 and still going through it. I've been really bloated since 4 weeks and just want to eat all the carbs in sight. Like, GIVE ME ALL THE CARBS.... and cheese! I've been snacking a lot too as it's the only way to get rid of my nausea. I've gained a few kg so far, but the midwife that did my early scans wasn't too worried and said that wanting carbs all the time is completely normal. She told me not to worry about weight gain, as long as baby is healthy then weight can be dealt with after. :)
