Bleeding!! HELP!! Going insane!!

After all the crap of the retained products etc I'm hoping this is normal but I dont friggin know!

How is your bleeding? What I mean is is it bright red, does it pour out when you sit on the loo etc basically I need the gory details to see if I need to call the hosp again about this! How many days have you had heavy flow? Does it stop, start etc?

How do you define your bleeding to be heavy??

Mine isn't 'fresh' blood anymore and not heavy at all.. If your concerned don't leave it hun go see someone!

Mine was only like that the first couple of days and then tailed off, by 4 weeks it was gone. Sounds a bit suspect to me after 5 weeks, did they tell you to expect this after the retained product thing? Unless it's now a period?

All they said was I just needed a good heavy period and I should be fine. But I could still end up with a D&C from what they were saying!! I don't seem to be passing any clots today so hopefully that's a good sign. I'm still bleeding lots but today it does seem a little less and the cramping isn't so bad. Maybe this is just what they meant by heavy?!

The scan I had looked like all the major stuff had gone, she didn't feel there was placenta left after I was discharge so I'm hoping it will get better. I'm just fed up of losing so much blood everytime I go to the loo!

It HAS to be my period...if not then this doesny seen normal.

I delivered on 24th Oct so almost 6 weeks ago - I had my first period at 6 weeks after my 1st and 30 days later (bang on time!) after my 2nd so I think it could be that. Both my other first periods were extremely heavy but after two/three days it seemed to improve, and I wasn't in pain either. I'm gonna see how it is over the next couple of days and if no improvement I'm gonna get into the docs on Monday.

When i had my 1st period after having Charlie, it sounds exactly like what you explaining... Was really heavy, bright red blood, but only lasted 4/5 days, 2 period lasted 2 weeks!

The crap we have to go through!!! hopefully it's just a period make sure u get checked if it gets worse xx
