Sorry guys - I know this question has probably been asked a million times but I could do with some advice.

My gums have been bleeding slightly for a while now but nothing too bad. Last night however after I brushed my teeth, my gob was bright red with blood! I looked like sommat out of Dracula!

Is there anything I can do or is it normal or do I need to see a dentist? Trouble is I dont have one cos i have just moved.

What should I do?

Thank you in anticipation of your responses,

Graciously yours,

Lady Dracula.

its completely normal... im the same, and yesterday it happened loads

totally normal hun...i have it on and off.

if you can get a dentist though you should cos dentistry is free for pregnant women and also for a year after the birth too so make the most of it!!

thanks ladies.

I will get onto the case of finding an NHS dentist tomorrow...

I was told to brush with a softer toothbrush, use Corsodyl mouthwash twice a day, and to floss regularly. I do all of those regularly and still get the odd bleed (esp with the flossing) but not half as bad, and it seems to be working on my poor gums.
