bleeding and period type pains at 39 weeks

hi

i went to the toilet earlier and when i wiped i had some blood on the tissue and since then i have been having some period type pains they are not regular and advice would be helpful thankyou

Was it heavy blood or could it have been your plug?!
If your worried hun call the midwife or the hospital! They may ask you to go in to be monitored or you could be in labour!!

sounds like a show hun and early labour pains i would ring your labour ward and see what they suggest i had the same with my son good luck

Sounds like the plug. I lost a bit by wiping then went to the loo a bit later and the rest came out. Mine was at the beginning of labour.
Best call mw or hospital. They'll at least reassure you.

I would say it was your plug but without knowing details of colour and how much there was it's hard to say for certain

I would ring your labour ward just to be on the safe side and see what they suggest.

it turned out it was the last of my plug coming out which im happy about because i have been loseing my plug for 2 weeks now hope things will get started soon thanks for your replys.
