Bled after swabs now af late am I pregnant?

I had swabs done on the 23rd of Feb, it hurt really bad which it didnt 2 weeks prior. I had them done to see if bv infection had cleared up.the day after I bled using 2 tampons a day, and had bad period pains and back ache. After 2 days that stopped. On the 26th Feb I was due my period..it's now 5 days late and I'm getting allot of discharge which is like a clear gel, also I'm really tired all the time and I have a bird brain. why did my swabs make me bleed and would it cause my period to be late? I've got a pulling feeling too. Am I pregnant?

What's your period usually like? It sounds like it may have just come early this time. I had a procedure called the scratch in December, involving scratching the lining of the womb - obviously that's very different to swabs but it did bring my period on 2-3 days early. I'm assuming you've tested?

I'm usually only bleeding for 3 days. And I'm usually bang on the 28th day. The thing that's confusing me is for the past 3 or 4 days I've been having period pains and back ache I'm so tired, and the pulling feeling. So I'm unsure if I'm going to come on again? I've tested today and it's negative.

Why you've been bleeding could be explained that your cervix was irritated in future don't use tampons when you bleed from your vagina that is not a period as you risk infection. You can be late if you're pregnant but the only thing that's going to tell you whether you are or not is a pregnancy test.

Ive tested it's negative. I still have the period pains and back ache though. Maybe it's just taking ages to start.thankyou
