i was just wondering how do u make them - i wanna make them tomoz with my best mate and our boys but i dunno wot u ment to do, can u also do different shapes easily i have a tree shape and wanna make x-massy ones

Basic Biscuit recipe that I do is....

250g butter (softened)
140g caster sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla extract
300g plain flour

Mix the butter and sugar in a bowl with a wooden spoon, then add the egg yolk and vanilla and beat to combine. Sift over the flour and stir until the mixture is well combined (you might have to get your hands dirty and use them!)... then roll out and cut as you want.

Then with this recipe you can add things to make it a bit more interesting.... cocoa powder for choc biscuits, raisens, lemon or orange peel, choc chunks etc
