well... off i went to the salon this morning after dropping my little girl off to nursery... the therapist was lovely and said so your having a "high maintenance" today are you? (apparantly that's what they call not quite a brazilian)...

well the first few wax strips weren't too bad (round the edges and across the top) but the closer towards the middle she got ...jeeeeeepers! When she ripped off the strips right near the middle it literally felt like skin coming off too and i really did yelp!

She was very good though.. checked i was ok to carry on and just kept saying "nearly done... nearly done" as she quickly did another 1 or 2 strips.... yowchers... she did say that everyone finds the central bits the most painful...

Then she said what about these bits... and what about here? etc (and without putting it poiltely she meant the lower section and almost inside the flappy bits and round towards my bum (thankfully that wasn't very hairy anyway lol!)! So i said "oh well you may aswell now i'm here!".... therefore think I have ended up with a brazilian?!?!

It was all done in about 5 mins! Felt a bit taught and sticky from the wax afterwards but she recomended and nice tea tree cream and cooling aloe vera - aaaaaaah the relief!

Then I got me eyebrows done!!!

So i can't really say if it was worse than being waxed when you're not pregnant... and i definately wouldn't say it was easy ... but it was quick, and i'm very pleased with the results! I would defo have it done again.. the pain only lasted literally seconds but you know it's coming again within another minute or so!

Having the eyebrows done afterwards was a doddle and normally i cringe even at that!!!

phew... quite please with how brave i was!

ur gonna be the tidiest woman in labour docs will have ever seen pmsl! xx

How brave is that ! well done hun X

Well done you. I'm a big scaredy cat and will probably just have a shave before I go to the hospital. I would love to get waxed but too frightened xx

ahw - i'm the biggest wimp normally - don't know what came over me really??!? whenever i go for an interview/blood test/ check up i get a dodgy tummy in the morning but today even that didn't happen!?!?

The therapist was great though... she just carried on regardless of my yelps and shrieks and got it over and done with so quick! i could never do that job i'f be like "ooh sorry... shall i stop... are you ok?!" lol!

Wow your so brave. I couldn't do it when I'm not pregnant never mind pregnant!

Doing this has been on my mind for a while, but I'm a chicken, so it shall probably stay in my mind and not actually happen!

well done! id love to have gone and got it done for labour but im way too chicken! I go over myself with a razor or cream every few days but i dont know if its all even cos i cant see! x

Ouch!!! I'm such a wimp I would never get my legs waxed let alone what you had done! I have managed eyebrows on occasion but that's bad enough! X

Well done Treeze did u not have a vajazzle while u were there? lol x
