Im a single parent of three kids and ts so nice to read this thred, normaly single parents are made to feel bad, i love being at home with my kids and it is the best job in the world to be a mum, thanx everyone xx
I've just recently moved to a new flat with my kids and last weekend was their first weekend with Daddy. I'm lucky I get every second weekend off from now on.
I couldn't relax when they weren't here though. The silence was deafening! I wandered around the place completely lost.....
I'm going to make sure I use my time off wisely though. I intend to get out and enjoy myself, and take time to relax. It's such a full on job looking after kids alone, but I'm sure all single mums on here would agree that it's a labour of love.
I've thought this so many times since I've had Tom...I just don't know how single mums do it! You must all be bloody superwomen. I can barely cope and I have Ali (who is so hands-on as a daddy) and my Mum close by too.
I've have HUGE respect to any woman who has children now and extra for those who are doing it on their own.
Lx
I'm a single mummy so it's nice to feel that someone (other than Adam of course!) appreciates the work we all put in! I'm also at uni and I'm about to start work full time next week so we can have some pennies during the holidays. Life is always busy and I never get a second to myself but I wouldn't have it any other way because Adam is the light of my life
i was a single mummy for 2 yrs and still am week days as chris is away, it is hard but u just get on with it for ur babies but it is loverly wen chris is home or mum and dad are around for support even if its to have a bath with out having to worry if Bray wakes up or is ill
