Every night DJ Baby Boy sets up in my uterus at about 1am and moves and grooves with some pretty hip dance moves until about 5am when he plays the last song and beds down for a bit.
OK girls any advice on how to get this little guy to settle as I'm still working full time and I'm shattered.

By the way, I make the hubby lie with his hand on my bump so it keeps him awake too. Well why should I suffer alone

Miracle babe, that's hilarious (well for me it is), fortunately I haven't had this my baba is quite good at knowing his bed times. Showed my OH your post and his suggestion was 'get a night job'
Sorry can't be more useful, maybe try putting some classical music on and playing through your headphones to your little 'n???

as you can see it made me laugh too!
sorry miracle babe.

aww sweetie my baby does the same around the same time.

I dont know what to suggest :?

Try playing music earlyer to wake baby so it sleeps later, it worked with my son

OK I have discovered a solution

I glass of warm milk
2 garibaldi biscuits

To be taken at 3am. Little guy seems to pack it in once he's had his snack

Aww what a cutey! Mine wakes up just as soon as I close my eyes too! Try giving him a wake up nunge when you settle down a couple of hours before you plan to go to sleep or maybe baby has loads of room in the position you choose to sleep. My babs loves it when I'm on my back but doesn't move much when I'm on my side with a cushion under my bump.

I started playing music to my bump the other day & its seems to like RAP... OMG!

yeh lots of noise through the day and classical music when you are going to sleep. I used to play it when i was pg and now classical sends eva off to sleep! xx

lol! I have 3 and all of them did the same thing - i think it is safe to say NOPE not alot you can do.

but use it as good practice for all them night feeds & broken sleep - i think it's there way of getting us mums ready for them!

sorry hun x x but you'll miss it when baby is out - i do anyway x x

Weird thing is that Charlie was never active at night only during the day when he used to kick against my desk when I was at work. The only movement at bedtime was when I first got into bed and lay on my right side to have a kiss and hug with DH Charlie used to kick against the mattress to tell me to turn over...he was a little sod for doing that!
Saying that, I probably kept him awake during the day when he was in the womb by playing load music, he especially loved Prodigy tracks played in the car with the full in-car bass system going (system has since been removed :( as he dont want to deafen him now he's here)
Since he was born he never got his day and night mixed up either and stays awake most of the day and sleeps really well at night so its sort of followed on from when he was in the womb which is really freaky!
