Big Fat Baby ??

Ive only just thought now, i went for my 4d scan on sat ( yayyy lovely little girly !! )
but the woman said our little lady weighs around 2 lb 11.... now im thinking about it that seems ALOT !!

Is it alot for 28 weeks ?!?!

I think thats about average hun tbh. I had a growth scan at 30 weeks and LO was estimated to be 4lb 2oz, when the average was around 3lb, so you are a couple of weeks off that yet. Sounds ok to me. If it was especially big they would have pointed it out to you and told you to mention it at your next antenatal, so I really wouldnt worry about it. Mine is measuring 2-3 weeks ahead consistently, sometimes more, but they are not overly concerned about it so neither am I. They just predict a baby over 9lb, but women birth these every day so its not really an issue.

i think that is about average, when i had my 4D scan at 26+5 the lady said our little girl weighed approx 2.2lb which she said was in the average area!

Thanks for that, Oh's been teasing me all day saying if she carries on at this rate she'll be one of those stone babies from that programme and just fall out !! Charming eh !!
