BFing nipple cream

I bought a cream for sore nipples due to BFing. It's called Kamillosan (sp?) and i was wondering wheter or not i was allowed to have it on whilst BFing or would i need to wash it off. It doesn't say anything about that on the box or directions

I think you'll find you don't need to wash it off. I never used nipple creams but i was given a sample pack of a brand and was told washing off wasn't necessary.

i was told lasinoh's cream was the only one you didn't have to wash off.

their website says you should clense the nipple before feeding, if thats not working out for you id definitely recommend the lasinoh which can be left on and really helps with the soreness

I think so too. BTW Lansinoh is the business - no point using any other cream, it's expensive (about £10) but well worth it.

i agree. my HV told me you can get it in prescription, so that's worth looking into
