Best way to tell my 8yr daughter I miscarried

Needing some advice on how I can tell my 8yr daughter I have had a miscarriage 😥 she has seen both scan pictures so not sure of how I can do this for the best I understand anything I say isnt going to be easy but anyone else had to do this.. Im so upset but I can't keep this from her.

I remember having to tell my 5 year old sister. She came up to me and asked if there was a baby in my tummy really excited had to say the baby had gone away cos it wasn't ready to be here yet. Broke my heart. X Hope it isn't to difficult for you. Sorry about your me hun x

Its so tough....no easy way of letting her know. I do think what PB said about baby not being quite ready is a nice gentle way of telling her. I hope it goes ok. Maybe give yourself a day or two before you tell her....get your head around it first. Hope youre ok x
