Hoping for more sucessful bf this time. Want to take a vitamin as i tend to have a rubbish appetite after birth. Been looking at pregnacare wih the omega 3 tabs in aswell....anyone using these? Do they make you feel sick or anything? Ive been taking pregnancare multi vita for pregnancy with added ginger most of my pregnancy but thought i should swap to these to improve milk supply? Any advice appreciated.

Hi I take these and haven't had any problems with them. It saves having to take a vitamin d supplement too, which is recommended when breastfeeding. My lo is doing well and putting on weight well so they can't be doing any harm!

With my first I took boots own brand for breastfeeding mothers. I don't know if the multi vitamins have an affect on your supply though. I was I'll for a few days when dd was about 6 months old and my supply dwindled so I took fenugreek tablets for a couple of days & they worked a treat.x

I know there are certain types of tea you can drink to improve supply that a friend of mine swore by. I'm not sure which, but it's worth googling.

Otherwise make sure. You are hydrated, drink a glass of water after every feed along with your usual fluids throughout the day. I never took supplements, not for any particular reason, I just never did, but being hydrated really is important for your supply.

Try searching for 'lactation teas"
