....id love to be able to use cloth, but the idea is really offputting to me... so im sorry but im goign for disposable..

but which are best?

is it worht spending that extra and gettin like pampers/huggies etc or are like tescos' own just as good??

hi , everyone has differant opinions to which ones are best.
With my daughter i found that pampers brought her out in a rash and huggies were better, and then i went to tescos own when she was a bit bigger. the best thing to do is buy a packet of each and see . you will get through them all so dont worry about wasting any x

My sister's recommended Tesco own ones to me, she actually prefers them to pampers or huggies, and they're cheaper. She's got 2 little girls.

I don't get on well with the Huggies ones - they seemed to leak poo on the legs. :puke: I always use Pampers, but they didn't have Charlie's size in Boots last week and I needed them, so I bought Boots own. They are just as good! He wore a Boots one when he managed to sleep through the night, so that was about 10 hours in it with no leaks and no rash!! :cheer: I've got Asda George ones to try next time. Whats the point in spending loads on named ones if you don't need to?! :D

yeah thats why i thought, ive been given 6 packs of huggies newborn, so ill use them up then move onto shops own i reckon.....

there only gonna get pee'd/poo'd in then binned so whats the point in payin extra for winnie the pooh on teh front eh ;)

I've just bought huggies, but only cos they were 2 for a tenner!

hiya
ive always used pampers newborn nappies with a 3 of mine and they have hardley ever had nappy rash when they were tiny

I don't like the pampers ones. I like Boots own but I just tried the Huggies Natural fit and I am favouring them at the mo. I didn't find the Tesco's ones as good as the Boots ones

It depends on the baby hun. I tried huggies and found them useless they just leaked everytime he had a wee. I have always used Pampers and had about 2 leaks in all and that was after he slept all night and was extra full. I tried Sainsburys own as well and found they leaked too. Just get a few different ones and you'll find one to suit :)

Sainsbury's own are very similar to Pampers we've found (even the pattern is almost identical!) - we find them just as good anyway.

I too have been wondering about this.

I have been told that huggies are very hard and leak but then people say that pampers gave their baby a really bad rash!

I have bought both pampers and huggies ( a few packs of each huggies because of the changing bag offer in boots!) but I am going to be trying all the own brand ones to see for myself which ones are best.. I agree that there is no point paying loads of money on these as you are only going to throw them away... I suppose it very much depends on your baby's shape!

I always use tescos own, think there the best. If i had to choose out of pampers and huggies i'd go for huggies everytime, i just think there better all round. I hate George and Boots nappies, i only tried them once and i'll never try them again, they leaked and they didn't fit well.

i get supermarket own nappies but i only ever use pampers aloe vera wipes and i use loads of sudocrem so Jamie dnt get sore!!

aint nothin wrong with cheapie nappies, they have to b upto a good standard or they wouldnt make them!!

hayden wees a lot because of his hypospadias..huggies always used to leak and the pampers newborn were even worse..the best nappies i've found are pampers staydry! they are great for non-leakage! but i havent tried that many others!

Discovered Tescos own with my son and they are fab. Have to be honest haven't tried any other own label brands.

Was such a snob with daughter that only ever used pampers or huggies but hey with 2 kids you have to watch the pennies!!!

When I was preggers we had this debate and everyone said that huggies where sooooo bad etc and I was worried cos my mum had collected me huggies nappies, but i find them fine, never any leaks poos or wees

xxxxx

i like pampers green... Not the yellow (new baby) they used to leak!

Ive found Huggies leak too, all down his leg it was! Pampers new baby and stay dry both fit well and hold the wee and poo in, and finlay has never had nappy rash
