I'm looking everywhere for Moses basket bedding, just fitted sheets and cellular blankets in white but struggling to find much - especially cellular blankets. I'd prefer to find ones in Moses basket size rather than just folding up cot sized blankets - my new house is so well insulated that the upstairs is constantly quite warm despite never having the heating on and constantly having the windows at least on the latch.

I'm just looking for simple, white or cream and cheap. Multipacks of 2 would be good. I've searched Babies R Us, Asda, Tesco and Mothercare but found that Mothercare is too expensive and the others don't seem to have any cellular blankets, just fleece, unless I'm just being blind. :eh:

Where's everybody bought/buying their bedding from, how much was each blanket or pack and how many are you buying? I was just going to buy 4 of each or maybe 5/6 fitted sheets and 4 blankets but not really sure on how many sheets she's likely to go through between washes?
I've been putting off buying it for months now, I suppose I'd better get a move on and order it!

Ah thank you! I was starting to think I'd have to buy them from Mothercare, I was begrudging the thought of spending £8 on one tiny blanket. Xx

I know the feeling I was really like not a chance and ordered those off asda and they were exactly what I was looking for. Xx

I got my cellular blankets from Amazon, quite cheap but seem nice quality, pleased with them! Lots of our stuff came from Amazon, I prefer being able to compare lots of things in one go :)

My cellulars were from the pound shop! All still in great shape and still being used. Someone (I think JJMum?) suggested pillowcases for Moses sheets, def gonna try that.

Aldi'so cellulars are great and 2.99 but only available in baby event. Matalan do good bedding aswell. Def don't oay Mothercare prices!!

eBay have some - about £5 if I remember correctly all brand new & different colours

I got mine from eBay. There are actual shops with all new stuff. X

I bought mine from matalan. I did buy a cotbed cellular blanket and I actually cut it up! I made 2 small ones (car seat and Moses basket size so they didn't have to fold and then 2 bigger ones for swaddling/ pram etc. I just folded the edge I had cut and hand stitched it. I got the 4 blankets and I think I paid about £10/12 for it. I then bought some pink ribbon and put a little bow on one of them. Lucie has just turned 2 and uses the two smallest for her dolls pram and the others are still in use for the car etc.

I had 2 sheets for each and I used muslins. If you fold them in half and tuck them under each side of the mattress under babies head, when they are sick you can just whip it off and chuck in the wash with bibs etc. so much easier than turfing out all of the mattress to strip it. I also used muslins as sheets when it was warm (she was born 2 July when it was 30 degrees) so too warm for a blanket but I wanted to make sure she was comfy. X

We got our Moses basket sheets from kiddicare. A pack of 2 for s couple of quid and they're really nice quality. Also got,our cellular blankets, from Aldi and they're fab.

I got my sheets from Asda 2 in pack for quite cheap & also places like home bargains or B&M do white sheets for about £3.99 you don't want to know how much I have spent in total on blankets I have so many I seem to have an addiction to buying blankets! I bought my little boy's cellular blankets from Asda which are great quality, quite thick for £5 each bargain

I've also got a couple of aldi cellular blankets but I don't think them as good as the ones I bought from Asda as they aren't as thick they are quite thin! I use them when the weather is 2 warm fo use a thicker blanket as their lightweight

We were in Mothercare today and got our crib mattress, fitted sheets and a crib bale! The crib bale was on offer! We don't know what we're having so we went neutral for the crib. I'm leaving the cot until a later date so we can have gender appropriate bedding for it but last time I also got that bundle from Mothercare! I'll be looking about this time though! Asda, Tesco, matalan, babies r us etc xx

Just a heads up that mothercare are having a sale as I e been sent an exclusive look as I've signed up
