Does anyone know which nipple cream is supposed to be the best? I found it to be very helpful last time (can't remember what mine was called) and would like to invest in a good one this time, but am finding it difficult to choose!

Lansinoh is what my mw recommended. I bought some last week but haven't actually used it yet so cant comment on how good it is just yet x

I've got (& using) Lansinoh. My mum and friends couldn't rate it high enough, & you don't need to wipe it off before feeding. My nipples where incredibly itchy but they aren't anymore after using this x

I've bought the lanisoh nipple pads in preparation for breast feeding but it never even entered my head to get a cream !!!!!! I'm going to have to invest lol xxx

I used Lansinoh too it did a great job when I had sore nipples, I wouldn't use anything else.

I have purchased lanisoh aswell.. It's a bit on the expensive side but if it works then im happy to pay that bit extra

Definitely, using cream made such a difference for last time! Definitely worth investing in a good one.

Sorry to butt in, I don't get itchy nipples but has anyone found that their nipples have become RIDICULOUSLY huge? Mine are massive, like the areola or whatever it's called, and my entire boob on both sides is covered in these horrible brown and red marks, like stretch marks. I can hardly see the skin anymore :( I just want to know if this is gonna go away again?? xo

northerngirl my nipples are also much bigger now, I'm sure that's normal. As to the marks... If those are indeed stretch marks then those will get much lighter in time. I can hardly see mine now. And stretch mark creams should help too...

I got lanisoh also mw says it's the best my nipples are already cracked but this has improved them also I alternate with Boots Expert moisturising nipple cream which isn't so greasy both seem great x

I used lansioh last time.. bloody life saver.. buy it amazon. Found it the cheapest

I haven't had any cracking or bleeding at all. The breast feeding support people told me it's nothing to do with the creams and all to do with baby being latched on correctly. However I do think the creams have helped! So from 36 weeks I applied 'multi mam balm' which I bought in superdrug and it recommends using before birth so that nipples were in great condition to start with. Then I used Lansinoh after every feed in the first week and a half and then after that whenever I felt/feel that my nipples are a bit irritated. It's great and I second buying it from Amazon x

Is the Lan actually a cream?

I think that's what I had last time, but it wasn't cream, it was like a gooey wax, kinda thing...? Xx

I think all these 'creams' are like that? At least that's what mine was last time - very greasy and thick!

Lansinoh definately. Used it with my last when I had scabs on my nipples (from poor latching) and it eased the pain and made my nipples softer to help baby latch better :)

As a mom of 2 kids who breastfed, what I could suggest is the earth mama angel baby nipple butter. This nipple cream is truly heaven sent. Above everything, it is safe for babies. It is non-GMO and lanolin-free.

I'm one of those moms who has a lot of milk but struggled big time with nipple sores. Those were my nightmares. Hope this cream helps. If it is not for you then other alternatives include: Lansiloh breastfeeding salve and mother love organic salve.
