As it says, i got up this morning and i am getting pains in my belly, hips and pelvic area that come and go and when i wiped i had a gooey discarge that was a bit yellowy possibly.

Any one know if this is normal or something to worry about?

Ive been having the same, i think its normal but im not 100% sure..

Yeah I've been having the same as well. Its probably normal. Well either that or us 3 are weird lol

Are yours bareable pains though?

Mine are only just, they are quite horrible, probably the worst ones i have had since i found out.

they do seem to only come and go occasionally now though so hopefully i was worrying over nothing again.
I have a gig to go to tonight so i hope the pain has stopped by then.

They're definitely bearable but I'm always aware of them and if I think about it too much I start gettin myself worked up thinking theres something wrong.

Every time I go to the toilet Im terrified of seeing blood but I think we're all like that. I asked the doctor yesterday if cramping is normal (I know it is but I just wanted reassurance!) and he said of course, its just your body stretching and preparing for the baby growing

oh dear Flamey !!
Bet you are worrried sick. :? Hope it continues to settle down, and goes away. At least there is no blood, that has to be a good thing. Sorry i havn`t got any advice.

Take care xx

jane.

i helped a friendwith her shopping yesterday and lifted morethan i should and i walked upstairs to her flat with her bags and felt myself really wet sorry tmi and panicked, major amount of discharge, think it was my body warning me

Hi Flame,

seems normal to me, I have the same problems.
I went to the doctors about mine and discovered I had pregnancy thrush!! :puke:
Not very nice but you have an increased chance of getting it when your pregnant. Its nothing to worry about if you have got it but the doctor cannot give you anything for it until your in your second trimester. My midwife recommended Natural yogurt and cotton knickers it eases your suffering abit (for the dicharge) as for the pains. They are normal but monitor them to be on the safe side.

could you have a uti?

I was in hospital AGAIN on Monday with bad stomach cramps that doc's thought were like contractions..all around my lower abdomen, lower back and thighs.

First thought was UTI... urine test was clear.

They did a scan and baby was ok and the new thought on the pains is spd.

No discharge though.... sorry..... hope I've helped a little maybe? :)

I had thrush just before I found out I was pregnant - really thick white discharge. I was recommended to have a bath with bicarb of soda in - I didn't know how much to put in, so added 1/4 of the carton. It worked. The thrush more or less cleared up by the next morning.

I didn't have any cramping though.

It is possible you may have a UTI. I had a kidney infection once that really made me have bad backache.

Hope you feel better soon. If it is really hurting that much I would contact your mw or gp.

discharge seems to have increased for me since pg, also i was getting pains too from when my af was due for a couple of weeks, doc said its just everything stretching and getting ready. dont think its anything to worry about unless obviosuly it gets worse and is accompanied by bleeding. hope you feel better soon

Well the discharge seems to have calmed down and gone back to the right colour, but i am still getting some weird cramps, one of them feels like i am being sliced across the top of my pelvic bone, a very odd feeling and not very nice.

I am getting other cramps to but my doctors shut half day today and the receptionists are rude and i wouldnt get an appointment until next week anyway.

Dont know what to do :(

I know it might be a long shot but why dont you go to the hospital and tell them you're getting cramps, they might scan you there and then and hopefully put your mind at rest

I tried ringing them last time i was getting some cramps and they said they couldnt help me and that i had to see my midwife or doctor, who just dont seem interested because i am still early on.

Go to A&E without ringing first, once you're there they cant refuse to see you. I know it may not be an emergency but if no one else is willing to help you thats what I would do!

Its shocking how doctors tend to overlook women just cos they're not very far in their pregnancy, they did the same with my friend, they just kept referring her back and forth to each other

Ok, thanks.

I will see how things go until around lunch time.

:)
