Belly Button Piercing..

how have peoples belly piercings been like through pregnancy?

coz ive had a plastic retainer in it up till now it has been fine.

but now its started to get a bit sore and red, so im thinking about taking it out, but i really didnt wanna have to

i had a plastic bar but mine started to hurt as wel but as soon as keeley was born i put it back in and it was cool

If it does just get it done again. I know its the cost of £20 or whatever again but there is no problem getting it re-done!

i had it done when i was 18 so 2/3 years i'm 21 now

Should be OK. I's had mine in 8 years and took it out about 10 months ago and its still open so to speak if I wanted to put the thing back in.

Plus like I say if it heals, get it redone (I did this as well, I got it done at 16, removed at 17 and re done at 18) and it hurts alot less getting it redone and healed within a week as it wasn't a ''fresh'' hole but just kinda re opening something

i thought it would hurt more 2nd time round lol. thats why i was worried

it just means you cant be pierced in the same place, and bearing in mind how long they take to heal id just take it out until it stops being sore, it shouldnt close up too fast!!

hope youre right, tho i seem to heal up quick lol. coz i took out my lip and cudnt get it back in by the end of the day. but its sore so im gonna risk it.

I took my plastic one out about six weeks ago as it was already getting sore and I checked today and it still goes in easily!
When i had my lip pierced and decided to take it out it healed alot quicker but its because its in your mouth they heal a lot quicker, the same with tongue piercings heal a lot quicker too!
If you are really worried just pop your bar through every week or so just to make sure but i doubt it will heal up totally!!
