belly button pains

After yet another awful nights sleep ive woken up frustrated, teary and achey. I keep getting pains around my belly button and other half thinks it could be the utureus moving up and stretching and my tummy is hard all over this morning and achey any one know what this could be?

Sorry to had a bad nights sleep hun. I think your OH might be right though, everything is shifting up now. I got up this morning to a bad belly around the middle. I can always tell when I'm goin through a growth spurt cos I get tummy aches round the
middle of my stomach. I try and sleep leaning into the bed with my belly a bit with my leg up for support so I'm not squashing my tummy but so that it's got support. Or you could try a pillow under your belly? Sorry I'm not much help, I reallyhope you get a better nights sleep tonight xx

Thanks for the reassurance that all is not bad i am so tired with it being my first i worry about all the pains and this morning i think it all got to me and my emotions got the better of me

Well, lack of sleep probably don't help with the emotions either. It's probably just growing pains but only you know your own body and if it doesn't feel right give your midwife a little call... It's what they are there for Hun.

it sdefo not nothing I have felt before so must be baby growing urgh the sensation is awful! on a plus side tho I think i felt the baby today yay!!

Im in the same boat as you, same dates and every post I go to look at because its what im going thru, its written by you, very reassuring we similar for the timing xxx
