So, I ran out of Bio Oil today....so waddled into town to buy some more. £12.69 a bottle in Superdrug, and that's with £2 off! I'm not even that convinced the bloody stuff works, but it's become my nightly obsession - take off make-up, brush teeth, baste oneself in Bio Oil... :moon:

Anywho, am just changing into my pajamas when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Oh. My. God. How have I not noticed this? My boobs are freaking HUGE. I mean, MASSIVE. My nipples are valiantly trying to escape their cotton confines. It's not like the bra is small, it's a 36DD :wall: I am going to have to fork out for my 3rd lot of maternity bras :( Think I might just buy a nursing bra at this point, seeing as that will be the next great expense  I have seen a pack of two in M&S for £25 so may give those a go, providing they have some big enough for me. Failing that I will have to go to John Lewis and try on their hammocks for size in Gardenware

I'm just loving this pregnancy malarkey!

Hmmm you could get the smaller bio oil which is £8??

With regards to bras, you dont HAVE to buy matty ones in m and s there are bras for £6 which don't have underwire, thats the ones you need, so another saving..

I'll have to look around in M&S then and see what I can find  Our Superdrug only had one size of Bio Oil, how rubbish! I guess it doesn't make a lot of difference seeing as a bottle in the size I bought only lasts about 2 weeks anyway - only just started to use it, was using Cocoa Butter before.

Anyway, just a bit of a tongue in cheek whinge really :) I feel like a good moan! :D

There's a seller on Ebay who sells the Miriam Stoppard Nursing Bra's for about £10 each! I've bought one and they're really comfy and I'm in a 38F now!!

:shakehead: i didnt bother with lotions and potions just carried on with my baby oil after shower, a friend of mine spent fortunes on bio oil when pregnant and it did nothing if your gonna get stretchies your gonna get em. i will however use it post baby to fade them as i have the complete version of the AA snail road map on my belly :rotfl:
oh and i am going through mat bras like a who knows whatsit! :D
add to that the clothes :wall:

With regards to bras i bought my nursing ones from Tesco. £5!!! Have a look, they're so comfy!
And i have a Home Bargains here and a small bottle of Bio Oil is £5. If you have somewhere like that then it's worth it.

I've found my worst expense is going on ebay and buying baby stuff

My OH says there are parcels of baby stuff every day he gets home from work

And as a side note, I think my boobs are shrinking :( I expect they will balloon after birth though :D

Wilkinson do a rescue oil (about £2) which is very similar and next to bio oil on the shelf. I've been using it and only have 2 very faint lines next to my belly button. I think it's in the genes though as my mum has hardly any stretch marks.

I'm convinced bio oil works, I've used it since the 10th week of pregnancy twice a day and I'm sure this is why I don't have stretchmarks! (I thought I had a little one a while ago but think I'd just scratched myself because its not there now!!)
I agree though, pregnancy is expensive! new bras, new clothes, breast pads etc.........

Aww hun I know how you feel hun
I feel like all we have done is spend spend spend and now we have nothing left and Im worrying about how we are going to cope with me being on maternity pay.
I need nursing bras next too!!
