Been trying 7 months....

Hi we have been trying for a baby for 7 months now and not had any joy is there a certain amount of time before I can go get advice from a doctor? I have a son who is 2 who was conceived while I was on the pill and was a complete shock/surprise I just don't understand why we are not having any luck it's so frustrating!!! Any advice?xxx

My doctor started doing blood work when I had been tried for a year. But you can always ask your doctor. X

Usually a year or 6 months if you're over 35. Suppose there's nothing to stop you seeing if doc will test sooner or telling doc you've been trying longer. We're on our 5th cycle of ttc and I'm thinking I don't want to try for another 7 to find out something is wrong...

Yeah that's what I'm starting to think... I mean only a few years ago I got pregnant whilst on the pill and now we are actively trying and nothing happening!!! Very frustrating!!! Xx
