been sent home from work!

we left milliepops at my parents last nite as it was easier than doing the 40-mile round trip again. i thought i wouldnt need to express as iv left her before when iv been out and not gotten engorged (altho drinking- which depletes milk supply so i guess that was different)
but, this morning i was quite full and achey. i started work at 10 but by 12 i was visibly uncomfortable (think i was wincing!) and my trainer asked whats up, so i told her. she told my team leader and she said i could go home! altho i kinda got a bit of a "ticking off" she said i ought to hav expressed and i need to be more organised! in a nice way tho luckily as theyre all mums (some grans) themselves theyre understanding. but i did get the feeling the company expects me not to come back til iv finished BFing
anyway i got to see millie earlier than thought woo-hoo!

Don't BF mums get special rights re breaks and things so they can feed at work?

Maybe thats not practical for you but I was doing agency work somewhere and a Dad brought baby to Mum at work for its dinner, she just went into a quiet room for a while.
