Well, my lb is almost 18 months now. His night time habits are perfect (touch wood). He goes down between 7 and 7.30 every evening without a fuss and gets up anywhere between 9 and 11 am the following morning (I know... eternally grateful!). Anyway, I always check on him as we go to bed at night (no longer use the monitor as it was a sensor mat and he kept setting the alarm off by moving away from it), but our bedroom is next to him and we hear him chatting away if he's awake. For the last month or so, I've noticed that he keeps using either his blankets or his stuffed toys if he's in a sleeping bag, as pillows, so I think he is now asking us for his own pillow. Where do I start? I was also thinking of doing the duvet thing now too as the weather is beginning to drop and I'm loathed to put the heating on this early into autumn/ winter. He tends to take off his sleeping bag, so I'm not concerned that he wouldn't be able to use a duvet, although he does end up in all positions in the night!
Can anyone recommend a reliable quality duvet and pillow for my lb. Also.... where do you get tiny duvet covers and pillow cases from?!?

Amazon was great for this. You just have to make sure covers you order match the duvet size! If you use "toddler bed sets" in the search box loads cone up.

I just got ours from Asda. I think it's something like £5 for a pillow, £7 for the duvet and £9 for the duvet set so cheap and cheerful, and will do him for heing in a cot and toddler bed.

Have a look at the gro to bed sets. They do them in cotbed size and single bed size. They are quite expensive but a great idea. The duvet zips onto the bottom sheet so cover can't come off and you insert the pillow so it can't move around. I haven't got one myself as my little lads in a cot atm. But will get one once he goes into a bed :) x
