I'm going to ovulate in the next couple of days and have thrush. put the pessary in last night.
Any ideas when i can start BD. :D

Hi, i have had thrush before when i was pregnant and a couple of occasions since. My partner and i BD'd and he caught it as well and believe me its far worse on a guy than on a girl!!!! Its very very contageous and it takes ages to clear up if the guy catches it so be very careful. The next time i had it i used the cream and waited until it had gone. It sort of cleared up in the daytime and we BD'd at night but he caught it. I was told by the doctor to apply the cream and it would take about 3 - 4 days to clear up and then to give it 2 more days for the infection to be out of my system. I really feel for you as i know how horrible thrush is.

Oh what a dilemma......I would suggest getting some canestan cream and maybe a fluconazole tablet too, then if you do BD before the thrush has gone, you can treat your hubby immediately (you can both take the tablest).

I used to suffer very badly, sometimes every month - and found that as long as hubby used the cream fairly regularly we were ok (if he didnt he would just catch it and pass it back to me which became a vicious circle).

Hope it improves very quickly........so you can get some BD in this month :D

oh no i could have the same dilema. dont think ive got thrush, think its more got to do with the really uncomfortable knickers i had on today but im a bit sore. plz plz dont be thrush cuz im ov in 3 days!!!

I know its a pain. Have you got some canesten to put outside.....
Cant believe it but i have a tummy bug now.

Hi

I would suggest you get a Tesco own brand Thrush once tablet for you and one for your partner, thus it stops you passing it between each other and if you feel up to it can BD. Thhat's what I used to do, and they were better then Caneston tablets and a lot cheaper.

Mxxx
