I am very new to charting my BBT and still learning. I am trying to pinpoint OV even though we're not TTC but rather just not preventing due to the stress it is putting us under.

I would still really like to find out when I OV. It's day 13 today and I m due to OV today acording to my chart. I have got a little dull cramp/ache in my right side so I guess I am OV today.

I have been taking my temps and they have all been around 36.20 - 35. This morning though - supposed OV day it was 36.68 - the highest it's been all month so that would indicate a rise in temp indicating that I have already OV'd?

Any advice or help would be great.

Thanks in advance

Hi, you normally ovulate the day before the thermal shift, so your temps would indicate that you Ov'd yesterday.

Do you use fertility friend (www.fertilityfriend.com) - it really heped me with charting and detecting OV.

Hope this helps.
