Hi
Does anyone know if having a low bbt has any significance when ttc?
I haven't charted properly coz of loads of weird shifts and Christmas etc but the temps I have taken have been really low when I've looked at other peoples charts. My temps have been around 35.25 pre ovulation and only 36.2 post ov. Is this normal ?

Some people are just 'cooler' than others hun. I wouldn't worry too much

Its your normal body temp hun, were all different so thats fine, no need to worry :D

Thanks girls it's nice to be reassured that I'm normal! I have just read on fertility friend that if you sleep with your mouth open it can lower your body temp so that probably explains it. I always have my gob open, it drives hubby mad!

As long as your temp stays elevated an acceptable amount during your luteal phase, it shouldn't matter, but having low body temps in general can be a sign of a sluggish thyroid which is easy enough to deal with, but I wouldn't worry about it!
