BBT....how does that go then??

i think it is different for everyone the point of taking your temp is to find differences from your norm and i think dont quote me it peaks when you have ovulated and continues to be higher if your are pregnant and dips back to normal if you aren't x

I'm watching this one as I'll be right with you doing the temping, OP sticks etc next month if I don't get my BFP this weekend.

SPC xx

Def SPC.... Well Im all geared up and raring to go and its great to have someone in a close cycle too so Im not doing it alone lol! Hoping you get your BFP tho mrs xxxx

hey Wilma, sorry i cant answer your question, just wanted to say sorry the :witch: got you, but good luck for next month!

Thanks F247....I know I thought I was going to miss her this month but wasnt meant to be lol....fingers crossed for your BFP too mrs xxx

It is different for everyone but you'll soon learn what your normal range of pre- and post-ovulation temps are. It's quite common to see a little dip immediately before ovulation but don't worry if you don't - it's the sustained temperature rise afterwards that you should be looking for to confirm that you have ovulated :D

I just started temping this month.

I just wanted to say that I picked up a thermometer and fertility charting book from Boots for about £15. I wasn't sure about the cost but it's really good. The thermometer is to 2 decimal places and it all comes in a little pouch which means it's perfect for if you're going away somewhere.

To take my temperature I set the alarm five minutes before the main alarm and this weekend I would just go back to sleep afterwards. I read that the main thing is that you should have had 4 hours of rest before you take your temperature.

Good luck :)

My main problem was that I would stick my thermometer in my mouth as soon as my alarm went off and then fall asleep with it there  And it's not one that remembers the last temperature either - as soon as you've read it it disappears forever!

Oh thanks SM and Kizzi.....I have got a thermometer and Ive started recoding details on fertility friend.... ;-) exciting stuff ehh.... Cant wait to see some sort of pattern appear!! Ha its like cluedo....looking for the evidence isnt it...ha ha xxx

:yay: It's really satisfying once you see a bit of a pattern - especially when your temp has been up for a few days after ovulation and FF marks your chart with a nice big red cross to show you when you ovulated! x

Ah thats great coz I need something the size of an elephant to point stuff out to me...blind!!! lol Thanks for all your advice ladies Im raring to go....just got to boot old AF out first then get down to making us some babies!! :-) xx

It's crazy but I'm feeling really excited for getting to the end of the cycle so I can get my big red lines! lol I think I either ovulated yesterday or today and I want to see if I am right. You're right that it's like cluedo! I'm wondering if every little thing is a sign which needs to be recorded on my chart now.

Ah me too......I swore I wasnt going to get obsessed about it all but hey ho....I AM!!! ;-) But its worth it and will def be worth all the stress when wever got our gorgeous babies here!! Everything crossed of course xxx
