Hi guys,

Please help!

My BBT has been low since 7dpo but still above coverline... this is my first time temping in a looong time... so im a bit rusty...

Could this possibly be a hormone imbalance? As I do have pcos, but this was a clomid cycle after a cp, so not sure if hormones are all over the place or if this is normal??
I’ve also been waking up with night sweats since temps started to drop... does it look like I’m out??
Any ideas please??

O look surprise surprise not 1 reply....

I don’t know why I bother anymore

Hey Hun, they’re all open circles - are you taking your temp at the same time each morning? X

Thanks for the reply lol

Yes 6.30 daily, I only downloaded the app last week and entered all the data at once so this week is now open circles xx

Are you waking up in the night and then going back to sleep and temping when you wake up again? This used to happen to me and I found that if I woke in the night my temp was always colder in the AM. I got around this by temping when I woke in the night, noting it in the ‘notes’ section and then taking it again at my usual temp time and comparing the two to see if they were particularly different or relatively similar. I discarded any big discrepancies.

I don’t know what is normal for you during your LP - you might need to chart a few more months to see a pattern - but mine always slowly declined for a few days before AF started which is quite normal so I wouldn’t say your chart looks unusual. Again it depends on your pattern but I know the month I got my BFP my pattern changed and temps stayed high and continued to rise (albeit slowly).

Good luck! X

Also on a side note I just wanted to say that I too suffer from PCOS and found my FP temps to be all over the place (honestly, it was properly rocky it was sometimes unreadable!) but found that my LP temps were always pretty consistent and ‘normal’ if you like...I think if you suffer from PCOS the problems arise in the first half of your cycle pre ovulation NOT the second half so I wouldn’t panic re: hormone imbalance! X
